The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where a child can grow, feel secure, and thrive. As a nanny, I’m not just caring for a child’s daily needs — I’m also building trust, helping shape early development, and supporting the entire family during important and sometimes challenging moments.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children diagnosed with autism and speech delays. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and a calm environment to help support their daily routines and developmental goals.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a pair of newborn twins establish a sleep routine that finally gave their exhausted parents a full night’s rest. After several weeks of gentle care, patience, and consistency, the babies began sleeping through the night. Seeing the relief and joy on the parents’ faces — and knowing I helped bring peace and rest to their home — was incredibly rewarding. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do.

Hello! I love children. I can’t wait to have a few of my own in the future. For now, I’ll just continue positively influencing our youth. I love to read, write, play, and be active. With my experience nannying for 6 years, and working as a Team Lead for the YMCA after school program, I’ve learned time manage my, appropriate discipline, and the love in watching a child grow into an awesome human. A few years ago, I moved to Australia to care for four children for a year. Being a nanny to those kids not only gave me my love for children but my love for art and teaching!
Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Winter Park, FL: Jessica C.
I'm Jess. I'm a 32-year-old, Disney obsessed animal lover. I have been working with children on some platform since I was around 14 years old when I took my first ECE course and started babysitting. I started my career with children when I was 16 when I worked in a 5 star child care facility with Infants-3 years. After that, I went to work at my local YMCA as a Youth Fitness/Nutrition Coordinator. Health and Fitness especially in children is something I have a true passion for. I became a nanny at 22 when I left the Y. I have nannied children from newborn-14 years old. I've worked primarily with newborns, twins and multiple children at once. I've also been a household manager that required a list of different jobs in itself. Lastly, I've done overnight care, night nannying and extended care up to 1 week while the family was out of town/out of the country.
