More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to read, bake and cook with children. I also frequently would plan crafts and outings. Crafts would include making Christmas ornaments, shaving cream snowmen, and 3D animals just to name a few. Outing would include something as simple as the park or the zoo up to going out to a restaurant as a treat.

Reading is another one of my favorites! My top 5 Favorite childrens' books are:
1. Good Night Moon by Margaret Wise Brown
2. Fox in Sox by Dr. Seuss
3. The Monster at the End of This Book: Starring Lovable, Furry Old Grover by Jon Stone
4. Marshmallow by Clare Turlay Newberry
5. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling.

As for baking and cooking I love to get children involved with whatever I happen to be doing. Whether I'm making something for fun or just making lunch!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is being able to connect with children on their level. Being a playful, calm, consistent caregiver that kids learn to trust.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have any formal experience with special needs children but am confident that I can learn and be a good nanny to them.
