I have worked with children in a few different settings. I began teaching swim lessons in high school which lead me toward a love of teaching. I was trained in CPR and water safety during this time. I have also worked as a preschool assistant and lead teacher in infant and twos classes.

My experience with special needs children...
I have spent the last year working as a paraprofessional in a special needs school for children with autism. This has given me experience helping children communicate with AAC devices and implementing behavior plans.
