A little bit about me

I am a young energetic outgoing person who loves to put a smile on all ages of faces. I have been working in childcare centers, babysitting, and nannying before during and after covid with all qualifying certifications (CPR, First Aid, 40+ hours of trainings along with background checks/ finger printings) since I was 18 but have been babysitting since the age of 14. I strive to not only put a positive imprint on your child's life but to put one on the parents lives also. I am all about keeping up with developmental goals with fun activities, books, toys, food, and even outdoor time. I have always been known to be one to keep up with kids, I have been my family's go to babysitter since the age of 14. I have a very bubbly personality that has never put a frown on a face. Working with children is my calling it is what I love to do, something I will never give up on.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

4 years in 2 childcare centers working with infants and toddlers as a lead teacher. During the covid shut down I was a Nanny to infant twin boys and continued to baby sit them on weekends if needed, I am also a god mom to a almost 2 years old have been watching her since she was born, with occasional overnight baby sitting. Since the age of 14 I have been baby sitting from siblings- to family friends- to friends of friends.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Hide and Seek, singing and dancing, arts and crafts/ keepsakes, trying new things(with parent permission), developmentally appropriate activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having an open and understanding mind. Being able have patience’s and a ability to recognize children are learning and growing at all times.

My experience with special needs children...

I personally have no experience with working with a child with disability but have some experience working with my sweet uncle with Down syndrome.

While Nanny the twin boys during the covid shut down, they both picking a name for me and started calling me NaNa and to this day that moment was so sweet, knowing I out such a positive imprint on there life to deserve a name that I have still called today. Now that they are older and are starting to talk more I am Nanny NaNa!
