The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of nannying for me is being able to get an opportunity to be a part of a child’s developmental stages. It really touches my heart because this is the time where they’ll grow to develop their most crucial parts of what makes such a unique individual. I am currently trying to pursue a minor in cognitive sciences, so being able to experience these changes first hand is already a reward in itself.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven't cared fully for a special needs child, but I have worked with special needs kids through school programs as well as hosting events such as the special needs athletic events. I have have been around enough to ensure the child safety and well being.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most memorable moments I will say for me is when I was leaving the family since they didn't need my assistance anymore. I wasn't expecting it to be as emotional as it was my first time, but it really goes to show how important the nurturing stages of the first couple of years really are.
