A little bit about me

I worked for a couple years as a nursery supervisor, taking care of children ages 0-4 yrs during church services. I have also worked with special needs children & adults. I have been nannying for various families part time for the past 9 years and truly enjoy it. I have been described as someone who can act both old and young. I am very responsible, able to set proper boundaries and provide structure, but I also enjoy having fun and being goofy which causes children/teens to love me! I am a very safe driver. I have my own transportation and am fully insured.

I have declined the COVID vax due to genetic risk factors in my lineage, but I am not anti-vax and have had most vaccines. I hardly ever get sick, & I have no issues caring for sick kids!

I also love animals and have worked part time as a dog trainer for the last 9 yrs, so if you have pets, they will be welcomed by me.

I have worked part time as a nanny for various families over the last 9 years and have experience watching kids as young as 10 days old to young adults with developmental disabilities.

I love all sort of activities and games. From arts/crafts to sports to imaginative games to building forts to puzzles to reading books to just watching a good movie.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with various autistic kids and one young adult over the years (it is definitely on the rise). I get them and they usually like me. I have also worked with a child who had cerebral palsy before.
