Hi my name is Nikki I am 27 years old I graduated from Quaker valley. I started babysitting when I was 12 and absolutly have enjoyed it. I still babysit even though now I am a proud mother myself I have a 5 year old daughter so I personally understand what it takes to care, and nurture. I am also well with all kinds of animals so if you happen to have a pet don't worry I am good with them as well. I am fun but responsible. The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is watching the children I am watching laughing and having a good time. stability is also a big thing for me. I will never cross the parent in how they want there child to be raised all I will do is make sure every time I leave that child is happy and smiling!

My experience with special needs children...

I personally can say I have grown up around some needs. My aunt has down syndrome and my nephew is autistic. I haven't babysat someone else child that has special needs but I do understand that every child deserve love and care regardless of the extra special need that may require.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A few weeks ago actually I was watching this little girls she was about 7 months old we were watching Blippi she was on the floor while me and my daughter sat on the couch and this little girl took her first step. I felt bad for the mom because that is such a special moment but to see her take her very first steps brought tears to my eyes I looked at my daughter who was cheering this little angel on it was a moment I will NEVER forget. I still babysit her and I absolutely love every time she comes over we have such a blast and my daughter loves her to.
