More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to do various activities such as crafts and board games for inside, but also can be a bit of a cuddler (guilty). I am very artistic and hands on. Outdoors is a free for all since I think of myself as an active person. I’ve always played sports and love being outside to explore, hike and bike!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me the most is comfortability. I believe that everyone involved needs to have peace of mind, including the children. Asking for help is not always easy, but when you have to, it should feel like adding a member to your family.

My experience with special needs children...

My only experience in this area truly is that I grew up with an uncle who was Down syndrome. I was blessed to be able to love him through every season of my life as a friend, a niece, and then a caregiver as well.
