I love children an I've worked with them since I was about 15 an eventually became a site director for the YMCA for a after school program and was there for about 3 years an I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately the company shut down an I was forced to work in different job fields however my love for children hasn't gone away. I'm a easy going an understanding women that can not only take stress off the parents but can provide the children with an extra set of ear to listen , a set of hands to help an a intelligent mind to help with any problem they may come across. Babysitting for family member before I was old enough to work. Daycare center when I was in 12th grade. The YMCA site director for the afterschool program at a school for 3 years. An currently babysitting for family members again.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to read an come up with different learning games for children that are not only fun but educating . I like to make learning fun. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as parks , swimming, bike riding an anything more that makes the children happy

The most important part about being a nanny...

Reaching the children on a level that typical nanny's don't care about. I want to provide my serves to watch the children yes but I want to do much more than that. I want them to confined in me as a listening ear for problems they may not feel comfortable with talking about to there parents I want to basically all myself to be the portal to helping the children grow

My experience with special needs children...

While working for the YMCA I had 3 children with special needs that the other workers couldn't handle. However while working with them for 3 years I was the only counselor that the 3 children would go to . Others felt like they were a hand full as I have family that has special needs so I knew exactly how to handle them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Working with children you experience so many great moments that I honestly don't have a favorite. Every child I've worked with has made moments with me yet no child is better than the next so no I don't have a favorite but if given to the time I can tell you some story's about the difference moments we've had.
