I LOVE music. I think that it allows us to be vulnerable within expression and tells the truth about our identities. Its personal and it can also be super fun. I love to read and to write because it helps bring clarity to my senses. I am all for outgoing and wild interactions if there's a balance of chill to compliment the vibes. I adore creativity, especially anything to do with using imagination and dreaming big. When it comes to socially engaging with kids, I am more mindful to my approach with patience, affirmation and support and most especially in regard to redirection. I love to be in the moment and have fun, and fill every experience with meaning to define progress in growth. I care about making sure people feel invited, appreciated and heard. I like to think i'm pretty humorous too, it helps me get to know someone better when we can explore silly things and laugh about it together. I do have a kitten so beware if allergies is a concern!! Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I babysat 3 kids for one summer, 2 8 & 11yo. I volunteered with my black student union club at an elementary school where we hosted games and art to introduce topics of social justice. I also do have younger siblings that I help to raise so with that in mind, being around kids isn't super foreign to me.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to be in nature so walking, observing and building conversations over that would be something I would introduce. Playgrounds are a choice but not every kid enjoys them, and outdoor games that include strategy and encourage movement.
