I was an assistant teacher at Holy Trinity Learning Center, a children’s daycare. I worked closely with kids, specifically toddlers to help them learn and have fun. I also babysat five boys ages 2-12 for a year. I have many siblings and little cousins that I also have been babysitting growing up.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do anything with kids! Being interactive and playing with them is what I prefer. Taking them to the park or on a walk outdoors. Even sitting and doing puzzles or building things with them inside.
My experience with special needs children...
My little sister has speech apraxia. It is a condition where some words she says aren’t exactly correct. Because of this I know a good amount of sign language.
