I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience over the years by taking care of my little sister and her friends, which really helped me learn how to support kids of different ages. I’ve also babysat for family friends, helping with routines, preparing meals, and keeping things tidy while making sure their kids felt safe and cared for. When I was younger, I completed a babysitting training program that covered safety basics, child interaction, and supervised time with children, which gave me a strong foundation for childcare.

When it comes to activities, I love keeping kids engaged and having fun. I’m big on board games - I grew up playing them with my three sisters—so I bring a lot of creativity and patience to game time. I’m also basically a professional Barbie and doll player thanks to years of “training” as a kid, and I’m always happy to join in imaginative play. I enjoy getting kids outside, whether that’s going to the park or, now that it’s winter, going ice skating. I try to help little ones unplug from technology and enjoy real-world activities, but I also believe cozy movie nights definitely have their place.
