More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

VERY creative person who enjoy activities that combine the things that a child already is amused by with different styles of learning .I’m a strong believer that EVERY opportunity is a learning one! If it’s learning how to count or making a bed, let’s make it fun!

Allow me to help encourage your infant to reach towards a bright object by repeating the name and color during “tummy time” which helps strengthen their core and hand and eye coordination. Lets look up fun kid friendly recipes on pinterest and pretend that I’m a chef with your toddler. Not only are they learning to READ: with following directions, MATH: reading measurements, SOCIAL STUDIES: kitchen safety, SELF GRATITUDE: enjoying a dish they help to prepare and RESPONSIBILITIES: helping to clean the mess we made lol. Or how about trading your nine year old’s gaming controller with a water balloon that will be thrown at a poster hitting only the Fortnite skins displaying multiples of the of 3.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Knowing that the parent can finally have peace of mind knowing that their child (children) is being properly taken care of. This can be a very stressful and overwhelming process. What can i do to help?

My experience with special needs children...

Children with learning and emotional disabilities also with different forms of autism. Children who are on strict medications and disabled.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Okay so your not supposed to have “favorites” when working with a group of children however, this one student of mine’s I could not tell my heart anything different. This little human stole my heart! There was a child who felt overlooked by his parents. Mom and dad just had a set of twins so their hands were full, Dad would leave a lot for business trips. Because the child did not know how to properly express their emotions it lead to them acting out on a regular. Seeing the child was normally the last one to get picked up, we were able to spend a lot of time together. As the student and myself jokingly went back and forth on the last day of school on if they were going to miss me, in mid sentence the child ran to their mom, grabbed a toy from his moms pocket, presented it to me and said “Now I can always be with you!” I melted!
