Currently I work at Stagelights PAC as a dance teacher for ages 2-16! Throughout all four years of highschool I worked many different camps, daycares, babysitting, ect. Kids and youth have always been a huge impactful part of my life and I hope to do the same for them!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts and playing outside! I’ve always had a good eye for trouble or if someone may get hurt. I love making up ideas of fun things to do or putting crafts together! I love love movies and shows but I always make sure they understand and learn something from it and aren’t just wasting time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me personally I had to grow up very fast at a very young age and take care of my siblings. Yes, it helped me grow in certain ways and helped me become who I am today, but if I can be apart of kids life’s and make sure they are safe and healthy and enjoy being young and doing all the things kids should be doing than I will do that. Our world is a scary place and our upcoming children are a HUGE part of change and I would love to be by their side or slightly apart of it!
My experience with special needs children...
One of the daycares I at worked at had a program for special needs children that I was apart of. We got assigned our own kid and would spend the day with them, learning with them. Before the program started we did have speakers come in and short course classes to take to learn how to spend time with kids with different forms of needs!
