A little bit about me

I have childcare experience since my youth, and took early childhood classes during college, but then concentrated on a broader field to serve families at a wider scale. After years in social services, I 'fell back' into childcare (& 'nannying'), which I've been doing for several years now, ranging from newborns to older youth & some with special needs.

I'm sensitive & adaptable to child's needs/ cues for specific needs, scheduling/ adhering to naps & also enjoy partaking in transitions/ milestones! I can do light house-keeping, local errands/ grocery shopping, laundry, bath-time, meal preparation (including introduction to solids & Baby-Led Weaning, as desired), well as engage children in fun, educational activities, community walks/ parks, etc!

Part of my philosophy is shadow a child, making sure they are safe & allowing them freedom in exploration & expression thru nurturing & creating a safe environment!
