A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Olivia. I started paid babysitting at the age of 16. In high school I took 2 years of Elementary Education which allowed me to work hands-on with preschoolers and helped them get ready for Kindergarten. I was also a Teacher Cadet during my Senior year which taught me how to lesson plan and all of the ins and outs of being a great teacher. During this time I earned multiple certifications and earned college credit. I volunteered in the nursery at Trinity Presbyterian Church for 3 years. During my time at Old Dominion University, I completed several Elementary Education courses. In October 2023, I became a full-time nanny to a 5 month old baby girl (reference available). My responsibilities included changing diapers, cleaning/making bottles, feeding her solids, taking her to story time and baby classes, etc. When working with children I am very hands-on, attentive and patient. I am CPR/first-aid certified and up to date on all of my vaccines.
