I am passionate about video games, especially games like Pokemon, Mario, & Minecraft, so I usually have a lot to relate with kids on! If technology is a no-go, that's okay too! I have babysat for a family that requested absolutely no technology, and still found plenty to do with the kids! I'm usually pretty good playing with them & their toys, telling stories, reading to them, or even just talking!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I am extremely passionate about birdwatching, and with one family I babysat for (kids ages 2 and 5), we would often go on walks and I would always point out different types of birds! We saw a Grackle once together and both kids thought the name was really silly, resulting in the younger of the two picking up that word and using it to refer to every single bird from then on.
