In addition, I’ve done occasional babysitting for children in my neighborhood, which helped me build strong one-on-one connections and further develop my caregiving skills

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a wide variety of activities with children! I especially love creative and active things like crafts, playing outside, going on nature walks, and inventing fun games that spark their imagination. I’m also happy to keep things low-key when needed—whether that’s watching a movie, reading a book, or just listening to music together. I always try to tailor the activity to each child’s interests, so it’s fun, engaging, and meaningful for them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting, supportive relationship with both the child and their family. It's about creating a safe and nurturing environment where the child feels comfortable, cared for, and encouraged to grow. Being a consistent, positive presence in their life means showing up with patience, kindness, and understanding every day. I also believe strong communication with the parents is key so that we’re always on the same page when it comes to the child’s needs and development.
