I have been a Au Pair in Sweden for the past 6 months to three wonderful kiddos and have loved every second of it. I have grown my experience of childcare so much by au pairing and being a nanny is something I would like to continue in AZ.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities I enjoy doing with children is playing dress up, making a fun and easy meal together, playing with toys, listen to music and have dance parties. As for outdoor activities, planting a garden, going to a park, riding bikes or simple walks, read books in the grass, and imagine shapes out of clouds.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most to me about being a nanny is being the most positive influence I can be to the children. I want to be the person they can rely and depend on no matter what; to be a safe, comfortable, and positive confidant for them when parents are not present.
My experience with special needs children...
Not sure if it officially qualifies as special needs but I took care of a one year old baby who had clubbed feet when she was born so her physical development had been a little slowed down than other babies. Crawling, walking, and general lower body mobility movement was a big challenge for her but we practiced exercises every day and she improved.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A good nanny moment would be sharing joy, laughter and knowledge with the children. I feel so happy knowing that I have a positive impact on their lives and vice versa. Also helping them overcome and achieve big milestones fills my heart with so much happiness.
