Hi! My name is Olivia, and I have over 9 years of childcare experience and 3 years of professional nanny experience, caring for children from newborns through school age. Before nannying, I worked as a daycare assistant teacher with two-year-olds.

My most recent nanny position ended when their little one transitioned into school, and I’m now hoping to find another family I can be with long-term. I also have extensive newborn and infant experience, including daytime and overnight care, and I’m CPR and First Aid certified.

I’m a very hands-on nanny and love getting down on the floor and playing with the children I care for. I enjoy making learning fun through reading, crafts, activities, and exploring, while also giving kids plenty of time to simply be kids! I love getting outside, running, playing, and trying new things together.

I also have extensive newborn and infant experience, including daytime and overnight care. I’m comfortable with bottles and feedings, naps, wake windows, tummy time, developmental milestones, and following each child’s individual routine.

Before nannying, I worked as a daycare assistant teacher with a class of two-year-olds, where I gained experience caring for multiple children, planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining routines, and supporting their development.

I’m CPR and First Aid certified and enjoy creating a safe, engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping the children I nanny active, engaged, and learning! I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities and incorporating curriculum-based learning into our days through letters, numbers, colors, shapes, early literacy, music, crafts, sensory activities, reading, and other hands-on projects. I love making learning fun!

I’m also big on getting out of the house and letting kids explore! I love trips to the library, children’s museums, parks, playgrounds, splash pads, nature walks, and finding other fun local activities and outings. At home, I enjoy imaginative play, puzzles, games, baking or simple cooking activities, and getting outside to run and play. I like having a good balance of learning and structure, new experiences and outings, and plenty of time for children to simply play, explore, and be kids!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny to me is building a loving and trusting relationship with each child. I want the children I care for to feel safe, loved, and comfortable being themselves with me. I love encouraging them as they learn and explore, celebrating the little things with them, and watching their confidence grow. Getting to be a part of their everyday lives, watching them learn new things, and seeing their personalities grow is one of the most rewarding parts of being a nanny for me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with special needs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and meeting each child where they are. I’m comfortable adapting activities, routines, and my approach based on each child’s individual needs while creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was with a two-year-old who didn’t speak much when I first started caring for him. Through gentle encouragement, play-based learning, and age-appropriate educational activities, we worked on language, letters, and basic concepts together. I remember how exciting it was when he started saying new words and recognizing letters in his favorite books. Being able to watch his confidence grow and be a part of those little breakthroughs was such a special and rewarding experience for me.
