Hi! I'm a local from Virginia Beach and work as an RN in the Emergency Department. I also work as a volunteer rescue EMT. I'm an outdoorsy person, so when the weather is nice I love hiking, rock climbing, and trail running!

When I was in college, one of my jobs was working as a nanny, and I honestly miss it! I've been grateful to work with very welcoming families in the past, whom I'm still close with today. My experience with special needs children...

I was a camp counselor for 7 years with a summer camp designed specifically for children on the autism spectrum. It integrated experiences and skills into the day-to-day routines of the children, such as riding on the bus with other kiddos, interpersonal communication, personal hygiene, etc. We would go on field trips to the beach, aquarium, park, and more all so they could experience summer like any other kid. The patience, leadership, and compassion I gained stay close to my heart forever!
