Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteer at my church Vacation Bible School. I read stories, did arts and crafts, played board games, visited the zoo and the children’s museum and had picnics in the park.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of my job as a Nanny is my ability to the help the child’ development in achieving their milestones. It gives me great joy to see a child grow and progress while in my care.

My experience with special needs children...

I took care of a boy with special needs for 9 years. I exercise patience and compassion. I was supportive, and boost his confidence with positive words and affirming his accomplishments. I assisted with his homework by using flash cards, cognitive games and motivational tools.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most memorable experience I had with the kids I have taken care of is their first train ride to Brooklyn. Their faces were bright with smiles, they were bubbling over with excitement . They knelt on the seat, stared out the window and asked questions repeatedly. The way they spoke about their adventure to their parents, grandparents and friends for several days and repeatedly requested another trip. I could not erase the look of excitement on their faces.
