The most important part about being a nanny...
creating a safe, loving space where kids feel free to be themselves. whether that means building a blanket fort, asking a million curious questions, or dancing around the kitchen while we bake. I care deeply about helping them grow with confidence, kindness, and a sense of fun. To me, it’s about being that consistent, positive presence they can count on while supporting their learning and creativity every step of the way. I also value strong communication with parents. it’s so important to work as a team to make sure we’re all supporting the children in the best way possible
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve worked with a child with special needs and I really learned the importance of patience, consistency, and flexibility. One of my proudest moments was teaching them how to swim. I adapted each lesson to their comfort level, focused on building trust, and celebrated every small step forward.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories as a nanny was baking cookies with the kids for the first time. They were so excited to help measure ingredients, crack eggs (with a little mess!) and decorate with sprinkles. We turned it into a little math and teamwork lesson without them even realizing it. When the cookies came out of the oven, they were so proud to share them with their parents. I was happy to see the smiles on both the parents and children’s faces
