A little bit about me

I have a 2 year old son that joins me for child care. I have years of experience working in an inhome curriculum based preschool/day care, working as a baby sitter and nanny, as well as working as a rec leader for both city and nature school programs. I am regularly educating myself on early childhood studies through books and podcasts, I have 12 ecs units, an associates in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Behavioral Sciences, and I took as many child psychology and early childhood courses that my liberal studies bachelors degree would allow. I always aspired to be like Ms. Frizzle and Ms.Honey and teach in a loving and fantastical way. But I find so much purpose and joy in providing more one on one care with littles and being able to spend so much time with my son.
I love working with children, singing nursery rhymes on repeat, reading, encouraging empathy and curiosity for nature, and supporting parents as a proverbial villager.
