As an artist, I have discovered how deeply I strive to provide younger kids with creative opportunities. In my eyes, "creativity" isn't limited to standard art practices; it includes any sort of creation, whether that be the creation of a new friendship, the discovery of a new interest, or the simple emergence of a memorable experience. Also, as someone who grew up experiencing a lot of social anxiety, I carry an understanding of kids who may not be the most comfortable in certain social environments.
