Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In high school and professionally through a daycare, we had the opportunity to create lessons for preschoolers that will promote creativity and enhance their motor skills. Around my neighborhood, I would be paid to watch over and care for kids. I worked full-time at a daycare that had children from infants to five year olds, so I am CDC trained as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Whatever the child can imagine, I love to be a part of it. Activities that help with fine motor skills is something I'm constantly trying to encourage. That can be considered to be like drawing/coloring to playing outside in the grass. I am all for teaching children how to do daily "adult" tasks. For example, children love to help cook and clean!
The most important part about being a nanny...
is being able to help others. It takes a lot to raise a child and I have the skills that would be beneficial for families that need an extra hand. It's not my main goal, but I do hope to make a positive impact in others' lives.
