I currently work at a daycare facility for over a year and a half. I have worked with the ages of 6 weeks old to 5 year olds. Before working daycare I worked as an aftercare counselor for over 4 years working with ages 5 years old to 12 year olds.

I love arts and crafts, but I absolutely enjoy sensory play. Through my experiences sensory bin play is always such a hit with children and I love watching them take positive approaches to learning.

That the child always feels safe and loved. I like to build relationships with the children where they see me as a friend, someone they can trust, someone to have fun with, someone they can talk to, someone that will be there for them. It's a important that the child knows that even if mommy or daddy or guardian isn't around they still have someone that will love them just as much!
