A little bit about me

I am 22 years old, currently studying Graphic Design in college and am looking for a summer job (ASAP til around the end of August). I go to a college about an hour from here and come home every weekend so I will be able to pick shifts up Thursday nights-Sundays during the school year! I have 4 years of paid experience; 2 years babysitting my niece who is 2, as well as 4 years of experience babysitting my neighbor who is 4 and a half! I have babysat my siblings a couple years ago but no longer need to baby sit them. I am very independent and can cook, love to clean, love animals, and am very friendly. I will do housecleaning, laundry, I can drive the kids around or to appointments. I have no allergies and can be around anything, so I can take care of children who do have allergies or need special care. I think I would be a great fit, I can’t wait to hear from you!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Besides babysitting my niece, I have babysat my neighbors kids and checked in on them. I also baby sat my younger siblings a couple years ago, but no longer baby sit them as they are older now and more independent.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love art so I would love to do arts and crafts with the children, take them on walks, play outside with them, take them to the park, if you have a pool I would be willing to play with them in the pool. If the child has any requests I would be willing to do what ever they want!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me, is knowing I take the weight off of parents shoulders by taking care of their child while away or at work. I love knowing that I am taking away the stress of a parent at work, as work is already stressful as it is. I also enjoy knowing I can be a fun, caring, and supportive person in the child’s life!

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have too many experiences with special needs children, however 5 years ago, I helped a friend babysit her brother who had Fragile X syndrome so I gained experience on how to babysit and take care of a nonverbal child with autism. I also gained experience on giving medications to them.
