A little bit about me

Hello - I'm Rachael. I have been caring for children for years and have worked professionally as a social worker with children for around two years. I completed a Master of Social Work in 2018. This next year I am completing an additional internship to obtain my license to work in schools, therefore I am seeking part time work as a nanny. I have been invested in academics throughout my life so I'm comfortable helping with homework and facilitating learning. I worked in a preschool/childcare setting for nearly three years but have experience caring for youth of all ages. I believe children thrive with a balance of nurture, structure, and of course play!
As far as schedule, I am relocating to the Chicago area in August and ideally would be available to start the second week. I am available two full days and then for after school hours on the other three days if need be.
