Hello, my name is Rachael.
I have an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, along with three Washington State ECE certificates. I enjoy supporting children in their development and providing more one-on-one care that nannying provides. I am very patient, responsive and knowledgeable about child development. I enjoy watching the children grow and develop and like to connect and build relationships with the children and their families. Some of my favorite activities are exploring the outdoors, learning about animals, arts and crafts, and gardening. While obtaining my degree my knowledge and skill for early childhood education and development was recognized by the head of the ECE department.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 20+ years of childcare experience in various settings, from in-home to in-center care. Before transitioning into a nanny setting again, I worked as Lead Teacher in the toddler classroom at an Early Childhood Education center for four years. I've babysat for numerous families and nannied several others in the past, with children aged 6 month to 12 years old. I also provided care for children 3 months to 12 years old in a gym childcare facility.

Was when I was staying late the next day and informed the child, his response was, "Does Cooper know?" Cooper is one of my dogs. It cracked me up, he was so concerned my dog would know and be upset that I wasn't home on time.
