Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been working in childcare for 6 years now, as an assistant preschool teacher, teacher, and floater teacher. In my experience in child care I have led children in story time, singing songs, and maintaining a positive environment. I have more recently had nannying experience for 2 years and have loved it! When nannying I focus primarily on caring for your child and engaging them in developmentally appropriate activities. When it is nap time, I am happy to take care of light housekeeping.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love encouraging children to open up to their interests. While doing so I hope to do activities that engage their fine and gross motor skills. We might set up an obstacle course indoors and take stroller rides to the park to explore the outdoors! I love to bring my soccer ball so we can kick it around outdoors. I also have finger puppets that I like to bring so the children can create their own story!

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are always when children have "a-ha" moments and the child succeeds in learning how to do daily basic tasks. These tasks include eating by themselves, the progression from crawling to walking, and labeling objects and people with their correct name! I find it absolutely fascinating and I am so humbled when I get to witness these small but important achievements!!
