Hi, my name is Rachel, I’m 27 and I’m looking for a temporarynanny job while I’m in school for education. I have plenty of experience with children, I was a nanny for two boys (1 and 3), and I spend a lot of my time baby sitting. I have a niece and a nephew that are 7 months old. I was also a learning support teachers aide for two years working specifically with first graders. I have been a summer camp counselor for about five years working with kids from grades 1-12. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teacher’s aid for a first grade learning support and general education classroom and I work at a summer camp during the summer, I also volunteer at my church with children’s ministries. I have also been babysitting children for many years!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When I’m babysitting, a few indoor activities that I typically do with the kids are, reading with the children, doing arts and crafts, building forts(with the parents permission), and whatever silly game your child might suggest! I love being active with the kids that I’m watching so when we’re outside I love letting them run around and play, especially during warm weather I love playing water games with the kiddos!

What matters the most to me about working with children is giving them one more person in their life that they feel loved by and can trust. I love having the opportunity to be a positive and loving person that children feel safe with and have fun with!

There are so many and I wouldn’t say I have a favorite, but I remember when I was a nanny for two boys we had a lot of fun playing outside in the yard, specifically our made up game where we each took turns dodging the spray from the hose, I came home in soaking wet clothes pretty consistently for weeks!
