Hi! My name is Rachel, and I'm a nanny looking for part- and full-time positions in the Richmond area. I have a Bachelor of Social Work degree, have around five years of experience working with children ranging from infancy to adolescence, and am CPR and First Aid certified for infants, children, and adults.

As a caregiver, I aim to treat children with empathy and dignity. When addressing children’s needs and managing conflict, I strive to put myself in their shoes and respond in a fair and developmentally appropriate manner. As a nanny, I love to foster a child’s development through creative play and learning, such as reading, music, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, and educational outings. Additionally, I enjoy building a strong relationship with parents and maintaining open communication. While I love working with children of all ages, my favorite age range is infants and toddlers because I find it so rewarding to watch how they grow!
