A little bit about me

Hi!
My name is Rachel, and I've just moved to Atlanta from Charleston, SC. I am currently pursuing a nursing degree, but previously pursued developmental psychology with an emphasis on childhood.
Before moving here, I was oh, so lucky to work with the BEST pre-school in the world -- Springview Academy -- for an outstanding FIVE years, so my experience with child care is stellar! While at Springview, I worked with ALL age groups, but got my "lead teacher" experience with the curious 2-3 year old babies. My last two years there, I worked with the silly 4-5 year olds.
I LOVE to love on my babies, and come up with fun, creative, and interactive activities to assist in their development, as well as gain a friendship with them. I really enjoy dancing with them, and being silly because, let's admit, it's so much more fun to get to be a child again!
On my free time, I really enjoy being outdoors, writing poetry, and binge-watching Netflix.

I love to get creative, and am pretty good with coming up with fun activities -- especially super cute crafts to stimulate their little bright minds!
I love a good time on the playground, or just being outdoors.

Creating a one of a kind bond with the children that I care for. My love for children stems far beyond the classroom setting in which I have worked. There is so much to learn from their minds, and so much that we can teach them!

My children at the preschool where I was employed kept me on my toes every. single. hour. of. every. single. day!
There is no way for me to pinpoint one specific moment, but they always had something funny or cute to say or show me.
I would say my FAVORITE part is still having a bond and relationship with some of those babies and their parents! They still remember me, and love me just as much!
