Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
1. My internship with VTfT in high school my junior and senior years: I was a student teacher in first, second, and third grade classrooms.
2. Volunteering in my sister's classroom: I have helped her in her classroom, both when she was a first grade teacher and, now, a second grade teacher.
3. I have babysat multiple kids in my neighborhood over the years, ranging from 3 years old to 10 years old.
4. I care for my niece all the time. She is almost three, and I've looked after her on multiple occasions (a lot of putting down for a nap experience).

I pride myself on being able to care for children, but also being willing to do house upkeep, meal preparation, and even tutoring. I have worked with special needs children in a classroom setting on multiple occasions, both in a volunteer and internship capacity. I learned a lot about special needs when I was attending school to become a teacher, and I was able to apply the knowledge and skills I learned into the classroom. I am willing to tutor and give homework help to your kids, whether special needs or not!
