I worked at Crossroads Church & Preschool with infants & toddlers in New Braunfels for a couple years before moving to Georgia to help care for my father. I spent several years at Comal ISD as a Bus Assistant working with troubled kids going to the discipline center, as well as special needs children. I was a Pre-K Teacher's Aide at New Braunfels Christian Academy one year between bus runs, and I worked for their Summer Fun Program for two summer seasons with children ages 5-7 years old. For the past three years, I have served with the Pre-K class in my church's Awanas Program. I have also worked in children's church and Vacation Bible School. I am currently working on various on-line training classes for nannies.

Indoor activities include reading stories, listening to music and singing along, and playing age-appropriate games. Outdoor activities include swinging, splashing in a kiddie pool, and playing with toys in a sandbox.

I am a laid back stoic veteran who loves the outdoors, history, learning new things, having adventures and exploring.
Being a nanny might be a perfect fit for me, I often do many activities alone--and most would be tons fun with company and children. I have been to caves, the alamo, riverwalk--I want to go to the aquarium and the largest bat colony on the planet (which is north of here), museums, river activities and springs, and more hiking. Also, all the missions in SA would also be fun to visit and learn about.
Learning new things about anything, history and local areas is very fun. But attempting to learn new things by doing them is even more fun for learning.
Recently working on learning Japanese Hiragana and Katakana writing, my goal is learn to speak at the same time (this is ongoing). I work on practicing writing from time to time just for fun and learning. I am also, interested in going to a pottery studio to learn how to make pottery and use a wheel.
