My background in social work–related roles, counseling behaviors, and conflict resolution has been strengthened through two key areas of my life: my long-term experience as a security officer and my role in helping raise my nieces and nephews.

I have worked on and off as a security officer since 1999, a role that has required strong safety awareness, emotional control, and the ability to de-escalate tense situations quickly and professionally. My experience taught me how to approach individuals with respect and empathy while still maintaining clear boundaries and ensuring a secure environment for everyone involved.
