The most important part is to be loving and very patient and understanding. It’s hard enough for parents to leave their children to go to work, but kids don’t quite understand so they’ll cry or act out. So being patient, understanding, and showing them love will comfort them and help them slowly build trust.

The only experience is with middle school age kids who have ADHD, anxiety disorder, and anger issues.
