Additionally, I worked as a teacher’s assistant in early childhood education at a preschool, supporting 3- and 4-year-olds, and later at a Montessori school, where I assisted in both lower and upper elementary classrooms with children ranging from 1st to 6th grade. One of my favorite nanny moments was helping the two children I cared for bake cookies from scratch. They were so excited to measure, mix, and decorate the cookies with their favorite toppings. We turned it into a fun learning activity by practicing numbers and following the recipe together. Seeing their pride when they shared the cookies with their parents made it such a special and rewarding experience.
