I moved to Beaverton from Kailua Kona, Hawaii last summer and have been working at Nordstrom. I’m missing children terribly. I always place safety above anything else with children. I don’t believe in screen time and I would fill the days with reading, singing, playing and exploring the environment, both inside and outside. As a Montessori teacher I look for teaching moments in everything I do with children. I find the “aha” moments with a child to joyous. When a child masters a new skill or learns a new concept the look on his/her face is priceless.
