Hi! I am 24 and recently stepped away from the corporate law world. My fiancée is in university and I am looking to spend time with children while I wait until we can have our own. I love and easily connect with children of all ages. Their love for life and worry free mentality is something I truly admire and am looking for as I step away from the opposite. My professional experience helped make me a great candidate to multitask, stay organized, and manage my time effectively and efficiently. So house management is also something I am interested in as well. Anywhere from cleaning, laundry, meal prep, scheduling, organization, these are all things I do in my free time for myself and genuinely enjoy them. I have a lot of allergies so I can accommodate around those as well!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have casually babysat for family friends, a little girl from the ages of 5-7 and their son 12-14. I also have cared for (and continue to care for) a family friends son from the ages of 3-7. I recently had a nephew and have helped care for him since he was an infant. I try to go out to see him and babysit whenever I can. I have also cared for my niece who is 2. I have a wide spectrum of experience even though I am only entry level nannying/babysitting on the professional level. I am confident in my abilities to move into the professional side and I hope I can be the right fit for you and your family!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love anything that helps exercise the children’s creativity. This can look different depending on the child but I love art and generally see if they would be interested in that first. Anything from chalk, paint, coloring, beads (if old enough), legos (again, if old enough), crafts. I also love being outside and think children should be out in the sunshine as much as possible (with sunscreen of course). I love catch, flower picking, kickball, soccer, anything they have fun doing I’m all for!

My experience with special needs children...

I did volunteer for the “best buddies” club in secondary school, which was a club that facilitated after school activities with special needs classmates. I very much enjoyed this, however my experience is limited. I am absolutely open to caring for special needs children and certainly have the patience for it but would need a bit of guidance initially.
