A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Robin. I've spent this past year in Australia as a live in nanny (for 8 months). Working with children is my passion. I spent all of 2018 overseas in Bali and Ecuador volunteering with kids involved in child labor. I was enrolled at University of Wisconsin Stevens Point for 2 years as a elementary education major before I decided college was not the path for me. In high school I taught swim lessons to kids (4 years). In addition I babysat and nannied since I was 13.
I also have a passion for art so I love to get creative with the kids! I like to cook as well :)

To me the most important thing about being a nanny is being enthusiastic, fun, and also nurturing with the kids. At the same time providing flexibility and trust with the parents.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not had too much experience with special needs children but I used to teach swim lessons at the YMCA and I would taught lessons to a little boy with special needs for about a year!
