Hello! My name is Robyn! I've been working with kids for over ten years and I love learning from them! Every kid is special, has unique needs and interests. I love being a safe, supportive guide on their journey to learning about themselves.

I love horses, outdoors, hiking and camping! My previous career was fashion related and I'm pivoting back to my first passion which is childcare!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've mostly worked in before and after school care. I would open the childcare centre and make sure kids were happy and healthy before we walked to their classrooms (most of the centres were extensions of the local primary schools in Canada). After school I was often in charge of programming, so all activities were my ideas and the kids would sometimes be entertained for weeks at a time with one art project! I've also worked for a few families on an ongoing basis. Please see my resume for more details!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Art! I love exploring art and different creative activities with kids. Anything that allows them to fully express themselves safely, while developing skills that help them foster self-awareness and socialization are really important to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Building trust with the kids I work with. Showing them that life is still fun, even though it can feel serious. Giving them their opportunity to be a kid and enjoy their special time being their age and not putting any adult pressures on them. Witnessing them be fully present and appreciative of the world around them.
