The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny, in my opinion, is the positive impact you can have on a child's life. I love watching children grow in confidence, learn new skills, overcome challenges, and reach important milestones. Whether I'm helping them solve problems, build friendships, or simply encouraging them along the way, it's incredibly rewarding to see them eventually do those things on their own.

Even if I'm only in a child's life for a short time, I believe kindness, patience, and support can make a lasting difference. Helping children feel safe, confident, and valued is what makes being a nanny so meaningful to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite childcare memory happened while I was working at a daycare. After not seeing one little boy for nearly six months, I covered a weekday shift and wasn't sure if he would remember me.

As soon as the 3-year-old walked in, he ran over, hugged me, and excitedly said, "Hi Miss Woah-wee!" (his adorable way of saying Rory).

It melted my heart and reminded me how meaningful the relationships we build with children can be.
