My name is Rylee Gothberg. I am currently a caretaker to two little boys who have become family. I graduate with my Masters from UGA on August 1st and will be relocating to West Palm Beach on the 6th. I believe that investing in the next generation of leaders is the single most important thing we can do. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a cheerleading and gymnastic coach for boys and girls age 3-18 for three years. Before that I was a mentor in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program. I babysat throughout high school and college, and ran local summer cheerleading camps in my hometown. During my time working for the nonprofit Girl Talk, Inc. in Atlanta, I had the opportunity to work with elementary aged girls all over Georgia.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am very active and outdoorsy! I can help kids excel in most sports and love nature. I also love to read and teach kids tricks to understanding and remembering material.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Lately I have been putting a lot of thought into the amount of time I spend with the boys and the formative age they are at. I vividly remember influential people in my childhood. Each day that I go to work I have the chance to impact these kids, making the world a better place in the long run. There is so much power in investing in children and I want to make sure that nannying is never just supervising someone else's kids. Nannying should be about educating and inspiring the next generation.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment has to be the day I noticed that when the boys draw a family pictures now, they include me. I also think waking kids up from their nap is a super special time. You are the first person they see, they know you will always come back for them, and they say the funniest things.
