A little bit about me

Hello my name is Sade' and I'm fun, extremely loving, nurturing and energetic. I'm looking for a full time position. I recently relocated to Ga from Los Angeles where I cared for two separate families over the span of five years. Prior to that I cared for a family of 3 boys for about 5 years ranging in ages from newborn to 5 years old. I served 6 years in the US Army and received my Associates in Early Childhood Education. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I worked as a pediatric nurse for 5 years. I have a great passion for teaching and caring for children while watching them grown into little people! I specialize in self-soothing techniques, organization skills, sleep training, baby sign language and reading to promote learning.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I’ve worked in several facilities, however being a nanny is my passion because it’s more personalized and caters to that child’s specific needs.

I love reading books, going to music groups, art classes, parks, children’s museums and anything that keeps their minds active and creative.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me the most is the bond that is formed with the babies I’ve cared for. Once they sense that you are not a threat and they began to trust you, it’s such a beautiful feeling. Kids thrive when they feel you’ve got their best interest at heart.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a 7 year old nephew who was diagnosed with autism as a baby. I recognized the signs and suggested to my sister in law to have him tested. Since his diagnosis, we’ve been able to cater to his needs in a way that allows him to thrive with his peers. He’s a happy camper and the sweetest boy now that we are able to properly address his needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There’s almost too many to name but my favorite thing about being a nanny has to be the first pee and poop in the potty during potty training. We celebrate as if we’ve won the lottery each and every time! I call them “Potty Parties” And the positive reinforcement goes a long way.
