A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Sadie. I came from a family of 14 kids, 5 of them with very special needs. I babysat all the time so I learned how to care for many children at one time. I also grew up to get married and have 7 kids of my own. Kids are my passion! I am currently looking for a part time nannying position while my own kids are in school. I can come to you or if you are comfortable your child(ren) can come to my home where they will receive all the love and attention I would give to my own children while I am also able to do what I need to do in my own home as a single mother. I help you out and you help me out in that way. I have reliable transportation and would be willing to pick up and bring back to my home. A walk through my home would be offered for you as a parent to see that it is a very safe environment. However if you prefer to have in home care I can certainly provide that.
I am vaccinated and can provide proof.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

As a teenager I did a lot of volunteer babysitting for couples in my church. I also worked in the church nursery and volunteered with the childrens vacation bible school. As an adult I taught a Wednesday girls class at my church and watched infants and toddlers in the nursery. I recently nannied a 3yr old little boy up the road from me until there was an opening in the local preschool. I can offer standard infant/toddler care and engagement to support physical, communicative, and social development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Love exploring the outdoors with kids…those are my two passions…all things nature and all kids. Cooking/baking and crafting with kids as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Just being present and making your child feel safe and loved when mom and/or dad are busy working.

My experience with special needs children...

I had 5 siblings with very severe handicaps which allowed me to get training to care for many special needs. Just to name a few…several of them had cerebral palsy, tracheotomy’s, ventilators, feeding tubes and much more.
