Learning together! It's so important to me to listen to children and see the world through their eyes. They are constantly learning and growing so partnering with them, listening to them, and supporting their growth helps me learn and grow too.
My experience with special needs children...
I've worked with toddlers on the spectrum, helping develop fine & gross motor skills as well as some gentle social skills. As a math teacher I taught many high schoolers with learning differences which I was able to accommodate by employing a variety of teaching methods.

Favorite nanny moment is probably when I got to enjoy a snow day with some very sweet children from the daycare I was working at :,) Seeing them run around in the snow, making snowmen, helping them out of their sweet little boots and then coming back inside to get all warm & cozy ... Soooo special
