My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with Autism working with a child on their home through a company called kaleidoscope for two years. This included full care (Dressing, bathing, hygiene, food prep, shopping). I also helped this individual go out into the community to learn how to complete tasks such as walking in public areas, shopping, proper car safety, walking to the bus.
In the hospital setting I gained experience with developmental delay as well as Down syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is being in contact with some of my families. I was a live in nanny for a couple of years in Maryland and I still go to see them, zoom call and talk to their mother weekly. The connections I get to make with my families are very special to me.
