Hi! My name is Samara Batista, I’m 19 years old and a sophomore at FAU. I’m a cheer coach for elementary school girls and have been for the last two years I teach at Pine Crest,Verde and many more and have been a nanny for kids aged 3-4, so I spend a lot of time working with kids and love creating a fun, positive environment for them. I’ve been coaching cheer for the past two years, working with kids from preschool through fifth grade. I help them with teamwork, confidence, and learning routines, and we always end practice with fun games and activities. I’ve also helped babysit my mom’s friends’ kids and my younger cousins, so I’m very comfortable caring for children of different ages. I’ve helped with things like homework, keeping kids on task, and managing behavior in a positive way. One of my favorite experiences was when my team won their competition last year seeing how proud and excited the girls were was such a rewarding moment for all of us.
